Home exchangers frequently list savings, comfort, and the ability to live like a local as the motivations for travelling via home swap, but why not swap and continue your education? Some of the most popular home exchange cities are also home to top business schools. Today, we take a look at some of the best European cities for swapping and studying for your MBA.

Paris, the City of Love, is undoubtedly a city full of history and beauty. Home to the world's premiere art museum, the Louvre, Paris is the premiere city of art. When home swapping in Paris, why not check out HEC Paris, to not only enrich your cultural life but also your professional life. In addition to the Louvre, you can also enjoy a stroll down the lavenue des Champs Elysée, walk beneath Arc de Triomphe, see all of Paris from atop the Eiffel Tower and marvel at the Gothic influences of Notre Damn de Paris.

Bath is not only full of history, but it is also home to a leading MBA program. Originally created as a Roman spa town, Bath boasts a large amount of Georgian buildings with stunning architecture. And with only 80,000 residents you can enjoy all of that history without being suffocated by eager tourists. Bath's significance was confirmed in 1987 when it was named as a World Heritage Site.

The cosmopolitan city of Milan also hosts two highly regarded businesses schools in SDA Bocconi and MIP Politecnico di Milano. Studying at either is a great way to get into a variety of industries because of their envious locations. Milan has its own Fashion Week and is home to the likes of Gucci, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace. In addition, there are art galleries and cathedrals to remind you of the city's rich history. Milan has the world's oldest shopping mall in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II so save on your accommodation and shop your heart out!

For location, architecture, and lifestyle, not many cities can rival Knok's hometown of Barcelona. Barcelona is also home to two elite MBA programs at ESADE and IESE, so the city has a lot to offer. There's sun, sea, beach, music, and pan con tomate. And if you're into sports, the Barcelona football team has dominated European football in the last decade.

No list of top swap and study locations would be complete without mentioning London! The city has several reputable business schools, none more so than the London Business School. Like many major European cities, London offers a lot of variety. London's theatre land churns out dozens of talented actors a year, is home to some of the biggest sports teams in the world, the vast majority of museums are free, and it currently has the tallest building in Western Europe in the Shard. Do you have plans this summer to use home exchange to visit one of your top choice business schools? If so, we´d love to hear about it!
