When we arrive to a new city, we don't really know our way around. With Google Maps, travelling has become much simpler and easier, espcially when we are in a new city, taking a taxi is the easiest way to get around. You know it will be faster and that you won't have to worry about getting to your destination but simply about what you are going to do once you reach it. A recent study was done on rating the best and worst taxis in Europe and the results have been quite a surprise!

Many of us may believe that taking a taxi is a service of a certain standard. It's not the means of transportation that a regular citizen would take on a day-to-day basis. The survey rating the best taxis in Europe was done rating the driver, the vehicle, the route and an overall final evaluation. The city with the best taxi in Europe is: BARCELONA.  Followed by: Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Paris.  The worst city to take a taxi is Liubliana (Eslovenia).   Check out the graphic:

The next time you experience a house exchange in a new city in Europe, make sure that if you do take a taxi, that it is in good condition and remember: there are exceptions to every rule; and like we like to say, "Dont judge a city by what other people say".
